How to Make a Four Balloon Hat

Hi, I'm Dan McLellan and I'm with Expert Village. Now we're going to talk about how to make some complex balloon hats. As mentioned, you can go in countless directions with this; we've already created a basic one-balloon hat. This will be the base in which we'll work for. I'm now going to blow up four balloons, two of them are going to be straight and two of them are going to be curly Q's and I'm going to attach them to the hat to make a complex hat. Now let's start by I'll take the base hat and just put it under my arm here so I have space to be able to work with. Now take a balloon, inflate it, let a little air out, tie it off, put this aside underneath my arm, take another balloon, inflate it, tie it off, put it underneath my arm, those are my two straight balloons. And now I'm going to do two curly Q balloons. I'm going to take this, wrap this around my fingers, inflate it, tie it off, put it underneath my arm and then take one more and inflate it and tie it off. I now have the basic balloon hat and four balloons, two straights and two curly Q's. From there, we'll combine them to make a complex hat.
