Curly Q for Balloon Hat

Hi, I'm Dan McLellen, I'm with Expert Village. Now we're going to talk about how to make simple and do complex balloons. We've already taken a heart, a teddy bear and a small flower and combined them together. I am now going to make a curly Q and combine that with the other three. So what I'm going to do is take an empty balloon, I'm going to hold it up here with my thumb holding it to, my two fingers connected and the thumb is going to hold on to the bottom of the balloon. I'm going to wrap it around two times and all I need to do now is inflate the balloon with my mouth. We then tie the balloon off and the balloon is going to retain its shape of the curly Q once it is inflated in that way. I'm going to take then the tight end of the balloon and tie it into this area where the teddy bear's tail and the heart come together here. Just simply take the balloon, wrap it around a few times that segment in there and now I have a heart with a teddy bear holding a small flower with a curly Q. At this point, I'm going to do one more thing because I can present it as this right now, or I can continue on to make a hat. If I was to present it like this, I would draw a face on the teddy bear by taking a sharpie. All you need to do is draw in some eyes, maybe a little face here and now you're ready to present it.
