Balloon Heart and Teddy Bear

Hi, I'm Dan McLellen, I'm with Expert Village. Now we're going to talk about how to combine the heart, the teddy bear, the small flower, the curly Q and a basic hat into one creation. Let's start by making a heart. First I'm going to blow it up. Once again, not all the way. I'm going to let a little air out here which is going to allow me to manipulate the balloon. Tie it off, fold it into thirds and bear hug it to give the impression that it?s fully inflated, take two half inch segments at the end of the balloon and push them together. That will tie and lock them in place. Fold the balloon up in the ten and two position. Put my hands on the reverse position, pull together and then push that balloon together, the two sides together. Release and we got a heart. Now what I'm making complex balloons, what I'll is I'll take this heart and I'll just put it underneath my arm right here and I'll keep on going here to the bear. Once again, I don't blow it up all the way. I'm going to let a little air out, tie it off and I'm going to create six half inch segments. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Take the base of number 2 to the top of number 6 twist them together and then I'm going to do some ear ties to create the ears on the bear, which will be bubble number 3 between 2 and 4 and bubble number 5 which is between 4 and 6 and just pull it out and twist it around. Now to finish the bear, I'm going to give it a neck, four more half inch bubbles for the feet, a body and four more half inch bubbles for the bottom feet there. Take the tail and I'm going to connect it into the heart here in the segment that's created by those two bubbles. Now the bear is connected to the heart.
