Lets take a look at our edit window. There are really two main windows within Pro Tools. The edit window, which at right here and there is also the mixed window, which also shows you faders that would be equivalent to the amount of tracks that we have. This lets us view the tracks volume control for each track that we see up here. So, our first track is a stereo track left and right. Our sexton tracks are our mono tracks. We can adjust our tracks to optimize our view if we like. If we are not going to using our guide track we can go ahead an mute that if you like. We can also hide that track by clicking over on track view. So that track can be made invisible if we need. In this case this is our guide track we really don't want to use it right away, were just going to go ahead in hide it. Our main audio is going to becoming from track one and track two. We can adjust the size of these tracks, we have a couple of choices, micro - which is the absolute smallest size and into extreme which is gigondo if you need. But, optimally we like to work around a medium track size.
