How to Highlight the Forehead, Chin, & Nose with Makeup

ERIN KEITH: Hi. I'm Erin and you're watching Expert Village, and today we're going to be working on corrective base makeup. Okay, right now we have two different sides of a face. She's kinda two-faced. But we're going to work on highlighting now and which--it's pretty much the same if we've--'cause we've packed on the powder on top of the foundation so you can use as highlighter and shadowing, which we're about to begin doing. You can use a powder on top of that and it'll blend just nicely. So I'll just do it on both sides so you can see. There might be a slight difference in color but generally works in the same way. What I like to use is a loose powder, a white or a very light, very light white powder, especially with lighter skin tones. I also like to take my sponge, here we go, and take the bottom part here, the butt, and just kind of tap it in there. Tap a little of your excess out here, and just kind of go up here on the forehead and just right here in the middle will be fine, not all over the forehead, just kind of make a V in a way, just a V spot. So it whites that more important area and then you're going to want to take it down to the nose, all right? All right. See, and that will create a little bit of elongation on the nose and then here on the chin to pull out that feature. So basically, highlighting right here is just pulling out these features. Okay. All right, and after you do that, you want to go in with your powder brush and just brush away, brush away that excess right there. You can still see the difference. There's a little bit of a different trait there and highlights. That's good but we're showing you all at one time. Let's see how that it brings out the chin there nicely, elongates the nose and also the forehead.
