Another great pose to practice through all stages of your pregnancy is the cat-cow variation on all fours. So this helps to stretch your spine in both directions. And again you want it to be a strengthening and a lengthening for the back without straining anything in the abdominal area. So you're going to draw the heart center forward and up through the arms and then on the exhale round your spine and stretch from the tailbone all the way up to the shoulders, keeping the shoulders down the back. So as you inhale the heart center draws forward and up, and as you exhale you just stretch the whole back of the body, opening up of the breath.
