GRACE FRAGA: Alright, so now the whole thing is dry. The paint is dry. What is the next step, Chantelle? Alright, we're going to use the scissors finally. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Finally, we get to use the scissors. GRACE FRAGA: Great. And you can great creative out of cutting it too, right? CHANTELLE TIBBS: Yeah, you can get creative. I mean, I'm going to do just the outline around the design. I'm giving myself enough of a margin for the sewing 'cause we are going to sew on this. So, you don't want to cut too close to the design 'cause whatever color of yarn that you have might go through the design. It might not look the way that you want it to look. So, I'm going to give enough room so that you can visibly see the stitching separate from the design. GRACE FRAGA: So, you kind of eyeball the distance between what you're cutting and the design? CHANTELLE TIBBS: Yeah. GRACE FRAGA: Okay. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Absolutely. And again, like if you're the kinda--more of a ruler kind of person or-you know--I also make sure that it's edgy too so that it's not like perfectly cut. That's how I am with Wear Me Naked; like it's got to look like that. It's got to have that edge. GRACE FRAGA: And if you want it perfectly cut, then you should probably draw around it? CHANTELLE TIBBS: You can draw around it or... GRACE FRAGA: Okay. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Yeah, you can absolutely draw around it or maybe--if you're just perfect and... GRACE FRAGA: Yeah, like you are. You're cutting it beautifully. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Well, thank you. But--yeah, and sometimes on different kinds of fabric, you have a better luck with others. Keep in mind, when you're choosing the kind of fabric that you want to use for your three dimensional shirt, that cutting--probably cutting a T-shirt is easier than cutting something that is a little bit different, like sweatshirt material is thicker. I mean, there's also thicker scissors that you can get a hold of. I like to use just a regular pair of shears. The same ones that I clip coupons with so--yeah. GRACE FRAGA: So, we're almost finish cutting this? CHANTELLE TIBBS: Yeah, we're almost finish cutting this one. GRACE FRAGA: Great. CHANTELLE TIBBS: And then we're going to cut out the piece that says Redistribute. GRACE FRAGA: Redistribute. Very good. You do the same way by eyeballing it. CHANTELLE TIBBS: So, that's about this way... GRACE FRAGA: Here's the design that we are going to sew on the T-shirt. So, right here. This is one of pieces that we're going to sew on it. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Uh-huh. GRACE FRAGA: Great. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Now, we're cutting the Redistribute part. And now, while I'm doing this, let's think about what color of thread you would like. Maybe... GRACE FRAGA: Yes. CHANTELLE TIBBS: ...you have orange thread to match it a little with the paint so it pops. GRACE FRAGA: You know what? CHANTELLE TIBBS: But whatever thread that you have, you're going to think about--that's a good color. That's a nice color. GRACE FRAGA: Oh, yeah. I have like a light green thread here. I think that's going to look pretty. And I have a darker one too. Black one, probably, I don't know if that's going to look good. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Black would look good. I was actually going to say for some folks that are just a little bit more classic and you just want to do the black, well, that's fine. GRACE FRAGA: Guess what? I have orange. CHANTELLE TIBBS: Oh, yehey. GRACE FRAGA: Oh, yes. I'm going to have fun with this. CHANTELLE TIBBS: So, yey. Now, we have our patch that says Redistribute. GRACE FRAGA: Great.
