This is Dominic with expertvillage.com and now in this segment we’re going to talk about the tools that we need so. Get your pen and paper ready or pencil or lipstick or eyeliner and write this down. Here’s the list: #1 we’re going to need a drill, drill with a Philip’s tip. Now I use a cordless drill because it’s safer I don’t like cords, messier, and it’s a little bit easier, more assessable. So if you have a cordless drill great this is an 18 volt you don’t have to have one this powerful I just have multiple drills and this is the one I grabbed. So a 9 volt will work just as well and so we’re going to have the drill that’s the first tool that we’re going to need. Second tool that we need is a common measuring tape, don’t forget one of these things okay one of those. We need a level, I would say this is probably a good level. This is just a common you know 18 inch level, right, is that what this is, 18 inches, 2 foot level so we need a level and also don’t forget your safety glasses in case the boss shows up you know and of course z-pencil because z-pencil is mightier than the drill that’s what they say at least. So those are the only tools that we’re going to need. I promise that’s all what we’re going to need unless something crazy happens we’ll go on to the next one but this is all it is pretty basic and the next segment I’m actually going to talk about the different types of anchors that we’re going to use to properly install these guys on the wall.
Dominic that was exactly what I needed, and you explained it so well, and with plenty of humour. Well done! Will definitely be coming back here for more advice in future.
Dominic Capone is the Friggin' man. To the uninitiated, he carefully (but quickly!) tells everything you need to do, assuming nothing. This gave me all the info I needed to confidently face my project -- and pretend I knew what I was doing like the back of my hand. Results were great, and the people I was helping now have the Illusion that I'm "Handy." Dominic did it!
