JAYNE ENTWISTLE: I'm Jayne Entwistle with ExpertVillage.com. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: And I'm Andrew Stubblefield. Welcome back! JAYNE ENTWISTLE: We are learning some warm up exercises to get us ready to do improv. We just did some physical warm ups. Now, we're going to do some vocal warm ups. In improv, it's very important to warm up our voices before we perform. You never know what will be expected of you. On stage, you may need to sing opera. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: "Ooooh!" JAYNE ENTWISTLE: You may need to whisper like a little mouse. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: "Hey, do you know where to go to the bathroom?" JAYNE ENTWISTLE: You may need to talk like a little, small child that just drank from a helium balloon. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: "Hey, mom! Listen to my voice! JAYNE ENTWISTLE: It's really important that we warm up our voices. This is also important for people who give public speeches, people who are musicians. So, in our next segment, we'll be teaching you some excellent vocal warm ups to get you ready to do improv.
