RAYMOND KING: This clip here is a little bit of hip hop, straight, old-school funk hip hop. It usually starts with a little hi-hat time in, [PLAYS RIM SHOTS] this time you use a little rim shot [PLAYS RIM SHOTS]. That's the first part. The second part is the snare part [PLAYS SNARE AND RIM SHOT PARTS] and the third part is the bass [PLAYS HIP HOP BEAT]. That's hip-hop.
