The Pile hitch has to be the simplest, quickest, fastest knot that you could ever put into anything. It can be adapted to be used as a knot, a bend or a hitch. So as you can see down here, is a demonstration. I've got my post that I'll be using as my hitch. What I'm going to do is I'm going to take my line here, and I'm going to take my working end, and just kind of double it up over my line. And I'm just going to take it and wrap it once around my line. And bring it out from behind and loop it over and in there. Pile hitch. Quick, simple and easy. Let?s do that one more time. We're going to take our line. Our working end and we're going to double it up, like so and make a bite in it. We're going to take it, wrap it around. And then wrap it over and behind down here. And then loop it over and then pull it tight. And you can see how tight, quick and secure this is. If you need a knot for a very quick application, this is the one to use. So we'll take it, wrap it, under, over, oops and done. Apparently I'm not as fast as I should be doing this.
