How to Tie Vibration Proof Hitch

The Vibration Proof Hitch is a great hitch if the rope is going to take a lot of vibrating. The reason it is called the Vibration Proof Hitch is the more the vibration the tighter this hitch is going to get making sure that it is not going to come loose so if you look down here you can see that I have my post set up that I am going to be tying this to and I am going to take it and wrap it over and around and start basically a Clove Hitch. Then I'm going to take my standing end and loop it up a bit and then drop my rope under it and then my standing end further up and loop it up one more time and then back under as well creating this. Now the more this is jerked or pulled on the tighter this will get, right through here and pulling all this tension through here. So let's do this one more time. We're going to go over and around then across and then go around again, just a little bit more length on this, then around again through my standing line here then pull a little more length through my standing line then tighten it down and there we go. Your Vibration Proof Hitch.
