How to Pick Garden Wind Chimes

Hi, this is Yolanda Vanveen on behalf of Expert Village. In this section we're going to talk about how to make your garden feel more welcoming. I mentioned how important water is to your garden and to have fountains, bird baths, for the sound and then lighting for your site. But there are other kinds of sounds that are beautiful in a garden, wind chimes are probably one of the easiest items you can find and purchase and put in your yard or on your front step or from a tree. They come in various shapes and sizes and they can be made out of wood, rock or steel but even on a nice summer day when there is a slight breeze and you hear a little bit of the trimmate light. It's just really adds a lot of sound I really just love the sound of wind chimes. I think that they are so rustic it's just a happy sound and I think a lot of our memories are based on things that we heard. Even on a windy stormy day when it's really clinking I enjoy it. So I love the sound of bells too and it reminds me when I was a little girl and my mom would ring the bell cause it was dinner time. I would run across from my girlfriends house and come home for dinner. They add a lot to your garden I love bells whether they are a big kong bell or a Japanese bell. There are so many different bells that you can add to our garden. It just makes it feel welcoming. In our next segment we'll talk about outside furniture.
