Tips for Defense in Foil Fencing

So again I am Amy Boyle and I hope that you have learned the basics in fundamental parries and defensive maneuvers. You should have your basic foil parries, two, four, six, seven, and eight, your semi-circular parries using a bind defensively or a Reassemblement which is an evasive maneuver, retreating as you parry and of course the very important essentials which come with practice which is always using your fort of the blade to parry, always parrying away from your target area, never parrying too heavy or too big.
