Hi! This is Leslie Sack for expertvillage.com. You can visit my website at lesliesack.com. We are doing Salsa and these are turns for the women, the followers. There are two different kinds of turns. There is a right turn and there is a left turn. Okay. Right turns normally we don't go any where. We do the turn in one little spot. If we are going to the left, we change places with our partner and that means we move. So any time we are going left, it is a different sensation that you are going to feel going to the right. So we go left, I am just going to show you a little technique and this is for girls only, don't do it boys. This is a girl technique. What you are going to have is one foot forward and one foot back and the technique is this. I am going to keep my back heel up, my right foot is going to be forward and my left foot is going to be back. If I'm going to turn to the right, my right foot is going forward like this so I am going to turn left, my left foot is going to be forward. This is the technique for moving turns. Okay ladies. It's not what one for staying in one spot. What is going to happen is the skill that you have to do is you are going to pivot on both foot. You are going to turn on left foot and turn on your right foot. Turn on your left foot and turn on your right, turn on your left foot and turn on your right. Back heels up, right foot close to the other, back heel stays up so this is turning left. If I wanted to do a moving turn to the right, my right foot forward and left foot back. So we went in the background, it feels good to stay up. Okay again you start turning on your left foot and the other. You want to use both your feet for turning. So I am going to move it, I'm going to move this way and go forward, back, forward, back.
