"Hitman: Blood Money" Walkthrough: Weapon Upgrades

JOHN SEXTON: Hitman: Blood Money is a registered trademark of IO Interactive, a company with which I have no affiliation. So, on the right side, you'll see there's "Back," "Details," "Select," "Upgrade," and "Start." So to select a weapon to take it with you, you press the A button and you see it moves over to the right side. If you want to upgrade your weapon between missions, you press the Y button and it takes you to a separate "Shop Screen" for the weapons where you can upgrade each of them, and you can buy some miscellaneous equipment. We'll go ahead and look in the "Miscellaneous Equipment." We can see that we've got $277,000 here that we can use to buy stuff, and so one of the options is "Improved Lockpick," another one is "Zoom Binoculars," and another is "Painkillers." Painkillers are good to have 'cause they restore some of your health, and a lockpick helps picking locks faster. We'll need that in previous missions--or subsequent missions, I'm sorry. And then, you press the Y button to accept and go back to the store. We also want to upgrade our Silverballer with a silencer, so this is silencer type 1. So we can press A to select that, and we can also get low-velocity ammo if we want. It's more silent and has less recoil. It still does the same amount of damage so we'll select that as well and press Y to accept. Now, we can press the Start button to start the mission with the upgraded equipment that we've selected.
