Protecting Hair from Thermal Styling Tools

Hi! I'm Amelia and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'll be talking to you about using thermal styling tools. Thermal protection what it is it's basically a product that you spray on the hair that's going to coat the hair and give a shield to the heat. That's super important whenever you use heat tools a lot. If you don't, what's going to happen is the hair is going to dry out. You're going to get split ends. You're going to have a lot of dullness and your color may fade. It's super important to always use some sort of thermal protectant. We?ve got some great thermal protectants on the market now that you can actually use to help control the frizz and control a lot of the problems that you run into when styling. This particular one I like because you spray on and then you dry the hair and it helps control the frizz. As you're drying the hair, it smoothes and it also adds shine. It's got the double edge and then when you flat iron. Whenever you see steam coming off of your hair, you don't need to so much worry that it's the moisture being leached from your hair or anything like that. A lot of times it's just the product being cooked off if you will. Think of a pan. If you put something on the pan without any type of oil, it's going to burn. Whereas if you put some sort of lubricant in the pan, then it won't burn. Always make sure that whenever your flat ironing or curling your hair, you always use some sort of thermal protection.
