Overview of Working as a Night Shift Nurse
So you should be now prepared to go work your night shift. We went over various amounts of issues and things you can do. We went over preparing your sleeping environment, went over preparing the night before, how to get your body in gear so you can sleep throughout the day. We went over things to do in the daytime so that you can be prepared when you get up and go to work. Like getting your clothes ready, getting your food together, packing your lunch, packing your work bag. We also went over tips to help you relax when you just can't; like teas and lighting candles, taking long baths, nice relaxing baths, and products that help like the Johnson's Baby Wash that I love so much, the Lavender. And then we went over ways to get your body in kick start to get ready for work. Such as eating; make sure you eat because you need fuel for your body. Eating before you go to work, if you need to take another power shower go ahead before you go to work to wake up. Also, getting yourself together mentally and knowing how to deal with stressful situations.
