Hi! This is Leslie Sack for expertvillage.com. You can visit my website at www.lesliesack.com. Right now we are talking about Cuban motions in Latin dancing and we are doing Salsa dancing but we use this in all the different Latin dances. This is Cuban motion is what is called when we move our hips so this mysterious thing with all the girls especially moving their hips it is actually a really easy thing. It is based on walking backwards again so when you step, after you step, you get all your weight in one leg and and your hip moves. So if you are going to figure this out, you just got to pretend you are a little pissed off at somebody, get all your weight in one leg and then shift it into the other one. Right. This is the big mystery of Cuban motion. You got to get all of your weight in one leg and then it causes your hip to move. Okay. So you don't want to think about moving your hips as this is not good. You just want to shift all your weight and get a little attitude. You got to have your Salsa attitude. So what is going to happen is to shift all your weight wherever you go. All your weight goes over one leg and put in all over to the other and then the hips are going to go back a little bit. You are not picking up sight or side, your hips are going to go like a washing machine. Okay, so back and guys hips move to so there will be a free guys. It's okay. This is a macho sport don't worry. Okay just want to get the hips moving; that's in Cuban motion.
