My name is Pete D'Allesandro and this is Expert Village. We are now at the stage on the computer where we've re-organized it, we've streamlined it a little bit and cleaned it up a little bit. One of the most important things that you have to do with your computer is backup the crucial and vital information that you constantly generate. You need to make sure that it is safe. There are several different ways to backup files. You may use DVDs, Internet and remote drives. I will use a zip drive, although it is considered a little primitive, by some. However, zip drives are quick and easy to use. This drive does not hold as much information as a CD or DVD but it is very simple. Now that we've cleaned up the computer and operating system a little bit, we must back up the information on it. One of the most important functions of the computer is backing up all of these important files. The files that we have generated, may be items that we are currently working on, our bills, or any important business documents. They can all be located in one of the files shown here. I'd like to discuss, backing up to a zip drive. The model that I have here is nice, easy to replace and cheap. So, I'll demonstrate using it instead of a DVD, CD or a flash drive.
