So our next step is going to actually be curling the hair. We're gonna take our one quarter inch section, and I want you to remember we're working with a hot tool. You don't want to keep that on your hair for too long. So this is going to be a rather faster motion. What we're gonna do, like I said take it about a quarter inch to a half an inch away from the scalp. Pull it through just to smooth the ends out a little bit first. Take it into your midsection, you can wrap the hair around, and just give it a little twirl. For about three seconds, release that, and then what you're gonna wanna do is take your curl and your smaller pin and just pin it there. Unclip the larger section, go into your next subsection. We're gonna take this one at a vertical, drop that and clip back your larger section. Once again comb through your ends, get out any tangles. Take your hairspray, again away from the face, a small mist. Take your curling iron, half an inch to a quarter of an inch away, smooth it and give a curl. Now with this one we did a vertical section, and you will do the same thing. Take it and pin it. This will give more of a spiral curl where a horizontal section will give more of a volumed curl. Pin it and let it set. I'm gonna show you one more. You can take a one inch curl, one inch section, pin the larger section back. Comb through the end for any tangles, away from the face give a spray. With this one, our horizontal one inch section, you're gonna come straight up, give a curl, hold for three seconds. With our one inch sections it's going to give us more volume. Pin that and let it set. I want you to remember you cannot keep the hot tool on the hair for too long. We're not wanting to damage the hair, we're just setting a curl. So let's go on to the next section.
