Combination Steps for Step Exercises

We?re going to build a combination from our basic step which is the front approach. With our lunges down which is a top approach and our L step which is a front and side approach. So. When I do the L step if you learned the other variations and you like those you can put them in. So we start with our basic step these will be eight count moves. Basically the lounge step is eight count moves and the step is eight count moves. We combine that together sixteen counts move it to the other side. Sixteen counts we have a full combination of thirty two. So we had our basic step with our lunges. Exit with an L step. That's how I would teach it in my class. The simplest form and then I can start to show the variations. So the first thing I may do is show a variation of an l step. So I'm going to keep the basic lounge. My body lengths forward I just tap my toes and step down and I am choose that little mambo L step. Front approach lounge and the mambo L step. This time I am going to very the lounges that go on top to add speed. So I am adding a rhythm change. Basic lounge. And I am going to do that squat with a pendulum. So basic speed lounge. To add more athleticism to the move and the squat with the pendulum. So that adds again intensity propulsion excitement and a little bit more athletic feel to the movement.
