The Ball Change Step in Step Exercising

The L-step with a ball change if you have taken any dance classes or tap dance classes. A ball step is usually kick, kick, one two. So with that little dah dah, you stay on the balls of your feet to change the rhythm of the step. So the L-step is now going to have a ball change in it when we get to the end of the bench. So step, one, two, three, knee, one, two, three, and four, five, six see where the rhythm comes in - three and four becomes our rhythm. One two, three and four, five, six, seven, eight...ball change you can start to make it larger by turning your ankle towards the bench or coming off the front of the bench a little bit more so you have to take larger steps coming back to the bench. Create a floor pattern, create the intensity by using as much space as you can so ball change, one, two, three and four, that's our L-ball change which again adds a little bit of dance flavor to the movement.
