Today I am showing you an L- step variation. An L- step is the front approach to the side approach and we are just going to add a little flavor to it and add a mambo. To begin here's our basic L-step. You can see it goes from front to side. I teach that in my combination first and then I am just going to vary it. One two, three, four, five, six, cha, cha, cha. So mambo, mambo back, mambo front, one to three, one to three. And in a step class of course you are going to see it a little quicker. If that is not comfortable when you are in your step class you can just do your basic L-step. You can do that with a little tap and a little swing or again we have mambo front, back, forward and a one, two, three. One, two, three will always help you change your lead foot. So cha, cha, mambo back, front, or rock up you might hear it called a rock up. You can do a little variation of a twist on it, again whatever kind of flats your boat and helps you create the flavor and the feel that you want to get out of your step class.
