In this clip I'm going to talk about inner critic. We all have inner critic and they show their monstrous head especially when they re learning to sing and you are feeling vulnerable. There is so many ways to deal with this critic. One of the ways that I dealt with it when I was first learning to sing was I/my teacher was telling me who is in the room, who is the room right now and it was usually my father. He would say tell him to go away to leave and I would literally was saying leave. You would not welcome here and he would say who can be in the room with you. Who can be in the room that was important, I would say my mother or my best friend and then I would picture them in the room. I would picture them smiling but I would be sure to tell the inner critic to leave. That really worked for me, it makes you feel weird, it makes you do crazy cause I'm talking to people in my head. But this is the art and you have to externalize the emotional life that is inside of you in order to deal with it.
