In this clip I'm going to talk about metal block. Singing is one of the most frustrating musical instruments that you can play because it is tied into your body. It is very tied in with your physiological state. Even if I'm freaking out mentally I can still kind of get my fingers to the play piano and I am a pianist. So I know what I'm talking about. But if I'm having a little bit of panic attack I'm really freaking out, it is really hard to really sing beautifully and connectively. You know express myself acting wise. So just know that the natural process is a process of encountering metal block and moving through them. Don't freak out, don't get frustrated. A mental block would be for example you are learning how to breath and you are like I can not do it, I can't do it, I can't do that. That is anxious. I mean if you are thinking I can't do it, I can't do it you can still kind of control your arms and do it. It is harder to control your breathing when you are panicking. Any kind of mental blocks can come up and just know that you have to systematically slowly and gently encourage your way through them.
