Learn How to Act While Singing

In this segment I'm going to talk about acting the song. It is really important to be yourself and let yourself and your point of view show through. It is really like acting whether you are singing in a rock club or auditioning for a Broadway show you need to connect with it in a real personal way. For example in I will Survive when I sing this song I think about my X who really screwed me over right. So I think I will survive is kind of like, I was really depressed after I got dumped. You know so I sing this as saying you know what I'm not going to stay depressed. I really picture singing to that person and also this song is about celebration and right now I'm in a new relationship. So it is mix for me singing from my acting I will survive, I'm going to get better but I'm going to find the joy of new love. I really call upon my relation I will survive, I will survive as long as I'm I know how to love I know I would be alive.
