In this clip I'm going to talk about the importance of choosing music that you love and putting it in a key that is comfortable for you. A common mistakes that singers make is that they find music and then they see it is so hard. They are struggling and they hate their voice and if you just transpose that down a fourth if you just brought that music down in pitch. All of sudden you might find that you are a amazing singer. So don't start out with a difficult piece of music or start out with something that is in a hard range for you. I mean there is really no wisdom and no productivity to doing that. I just sang to you I would survive if that song was in a higher key I would and I was trying to belt it. I would get really frustrated and get really tense. I will survive. Well I have a really hard belt so I can do it. But someone else might not. I will survive as long as..I mean there is no point if it is to low. I will survive, I mean it sounds fine cause I have a high range. I have developed it but the point is I mean for years all my teacher did was transpose music in to a key that was comfortable for me. It made a world of difference.
