How to Relax the Jaw for Singing

In this clip I'm going to talk about relaxing the jaw and the tongue. Even if you are not a singer but you speak a lot in your work as teacher or a reporter, this is a crucial exercise to do. Give me that nice open smile that we have talked about earlier and I'm going to see la. I'm going to have a nice (making sounds), low gentle sound it is natural. La, you can see my mouth is not moving at all. (making sounds) I'm relaxed but I'm literally stretching the tongue but not in a way that hurts. I can do it with (making sounds)that is with a D. I can do N and I can do th. This really helps you with your speaking in a natural gentle way.
