How to do the Drop Down Hula Hoop Trick

Now we're going to learn the drop down with your first hand. Come up into lasso with your first hand. Look up at the hoop. Notice when the hoop opens up in front of your body. Take your second hand and start to reach up through that opening in the hoop. The next time your second hand reaches up into the hoop, we're going to turn and drop the hoop down to our waist. Second hand reaches up, turn, and release at the waist. Let's go over that a little bit more. Starting up here in lasso with your first hand. Second hand reaches up and guides the hoop down. Your right hand comes across the chest and releases right here at the waist. Then don't forget to start hooping around your waist. Come up in to lasso with your first hand, second reaches through circling, and release at the waist. One more time. Take the hoop up into lasso. Second hand reaches through the hoop, hoop drops across the chest and releases at the waist. Once you start to feel this, you don't have to use your second hand as a guide. You can just start to release the hoop down and turn. Turning is really helpful as you're learning this move. It slows down the hoop a little bit and just makes it quite a bit easier. I'll show you one more time. Alright. Nice job.
