In this clip, we're going to talk about stretching out transitions. What I just did was I created a story well this little girl is happily walking down the street until she sees something and is sent back in a supernatural way. What If we decided that when we transfer from flick into glide, we make it a longer transition. What would that be like? She's flicking, she's flicking, she's flicking, she's transitioning, she's transitioning, and then she's gliding. It changes what's happening in the story and it's a different way to think about how to use your movement. It went from happy, happy, happy, and then maybe she's thinking and she's slowly entering this other dream realm, and now she's gliding. One way to think about story and puppets is to expand your transitions.
