Maneuvering the Blockade in Halo 3

JOHN SEXTON: Halo 3 is a registered trademark of Bungie Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. So I'm going to try to jump over this gap here with the chopper's acceleration, which is on the left trigger, and take out the enemies in this new area. So here I'm going to face off with another Brute Chopper and I've got him on the run. Take that one out. There's also a mounted turret up there. So this is definitely not a good way to go 'cause we'll have to face down a Wraith and a turret. Let's see if we can go around the other way and come up behind one of those vehicles and take them out. I've come up behind that mounted gun and taken it out. So now the Warthog and I are going to be able to double team this Wraith. We can come up behind it. And there goes the wreckage. The Wraith also has a powerful machine gun but the chopper is much more maneuverable so we can run circles around it and come up behind it. I'm going to shoot my Warthog there and we can take it out. There it goes. So there's one Wraith down. You can see some energy being slung from over here, though, so obviously there's another one. Here it is, up on that hill. Yikes, just about got taken out there but not quite. You can visibly see that the chopper has been damaged now, but, hopefully, with the help of the Warthog here, you'll be able to distract the Wraith long enough so you can put an end to its silliness. Looks like the Warthog gunner just took out the Wraith gunner, and as long as we can keep the gunner out of the gunner seat, the Wraith doesn't provide too much of a threat but they are quickly replaced by other Brutes. So, once you take out that gunner, you gotta make sure to move in and finish the Wraith off.
