Avoiding the Fuel Rod Cannon in Halo 3

JOHN SEXTON: Halo 3 is a registered trademark of Bungie Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. So, one of the guys has a fuel rod cannon which is very dangerous, a one hit kill weapon, so, I've gotta take extra special care not to get hit by that. So I'm actually just going to come back here and take cover, and I use this plasma turret that I pulled off to--attacking the guy that comes near me. So there are a couple of Brutes left. I was able to take out one with the melee attack, so, the fuel rod gun is what's shooting the big, green blobs there. If we can take out this Brute on the left, which we just did, now, we're able to focus more of our attention on the fuel rod cannon guy. He's far enough away that we're going to have to get closer if we really want to get an accurate shot at him, because the fuel rod cannon does a lot of splash damage. He doesn't even have to hit you. It can just hit nearby, and still do enough damage to kill you. So he just threw out a shield stealer, a shield drainer, to me but, luckily, I killed him at the same time, so he wasn't able to finish me off.
