How to Carry the Turret Gun in Halo 3

JOHN SEXTON: Halo 3 is a registered trademark of Bungie Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. You can rip the turrets off of their hinges, which is a nice new thing in Halo 3. You kinda pick it up and have a very powerful, portable machine gun with you, but it slows your movement quite a bit, and puts you into this third-person perspective when you've got the turret gun. It doesn't last very long. The ammo counts up in the upper right hand corner just like with most weapons, but it is very powerful. So we're going to try to take advantage of it here to clear out the stuff this drop ship is bringing to us. Now, on the lower left hand corner, you can see my radar, and that lets me know where nearby friends and foes are. I think about the radar, though, it doesn't tell you where people are in relation to you all the time. They have to be moving, or doing something to show up on the radar. So you might have an enemy sneak up behind you, and not show up, or you may run into an enemy who is sitting still, and they won't show up on your radar so it's not full proof but it is a helpful guide.
