The Needler in Halo 3

JOHN SEXTON: Halo 3 is a registered trademark of Bungie Software, a company of which I have no affiliation. I am going to pick up another weapon here, the "needler." It's a little bit like the spiker, but the needler is a weapon that's kind of evolved over the halo universe from game to game and it's never been particularly strong, but in certain situations it's very useful because the needles will actually fly towards the enemy and stick into them and explode after a second, so it's really good for taking down the shields of enemies or if enemies are concealed, the needles can go around the corners a little bit to kind of hunt them down, so I particularly like the needler because it suits my style of play and I think it's fun to use, but it's not one of the most powerful weapons in the game. Now you can see that if I go up to one of my AI teammates here I get a little icon that appears in the upper right hand corner that tells me I can hold the right bumper to take my ally's assault rifle. And this comes in handy sometimes if you don't like the weapon that you've got or if you're running out of ammo, you can actually borrow weapons from your teammates to help get you through the fight. Right now, I'm going to hang on to my needler though until I run out of ammo.
