How to Shape Eyes for Clay Sculpture

Now that I've added the clay to where the eyes are going to be I need to actually pull this eye out of here. I know that sounds weird, but I need to kind of bring it out of the sculpture so I'm going to do this, then I'm going to take my needle and press this back in here and I'm going to smooth it out. Notice I added a little piece on top of the original piece of clay that we added so now I can come in and press out the eyelid and then just scrape out the actual shape of the eye and then put in the tear duct here and then I'm going to do the same thing on the other side.
