Tips for Using Fly Fishing Thermometers

ALVIN DEDEAUX: A thermometer is another tool, not an essential, but it's definitely pretty helpful especially trout fishing 'cause they're really temperature sensitive and so are a lot of other fishing and you know you can kinda tell whether the fishing should be good or not by the water temperature. They make a lot of different ones. This one's nice 'cause this is digital. You just hit the button and poke it in the water and 30 seconds later you have a good reading but they are also--the old style mercury ones with the glass case are still around. These are nice though 'cause they're really tough to break and they're really inexpensive.
