Should or Must for Self Employment Tax

Well I want you all to know this, I’m Tom Choisent, enrolled agent; and here’s a little tip that can help you if you like to look at those tax rules. I call it “Should or Must”, so when the wording of those tax laws gets a little ambiguous and long, the word “Should”, in a tax rule means that these parameters that they indicate should be followed as I mentioned in the case of statutory employees and putting the stuff on the W2. “Must” means that it must follow the rules that are laid out. So it gives you a pretty good idea of how tightly enforced a given rule might be. So we are going to say goodbye to you all and I really appreciate you taking a look at what I have offered you here, thank you.
