How to Touch Up Glass Beads

Ok. I see one tiny little spot there that I kind of missed, so I'm going to go over that real quick. Usually, the parts towards the top and bottom ends of the bead tend to be a little more of a pain to get the clear on, but, that's ok. The bottom is looking pretty good. All right. Those are little touch ups. We'll just get our melt on here. It's very subtle touches there. You want to be careful not to try and take off any of that bead release, because if that happens, your whole bead goes to crap. Oh, it looks like we've got some flaking off right now. That means that we should hurry. Because the really bad thing that happens when that bead release comes off, it'll split right down the middle, and your bead is attached to it, so it will basically just make your bead fall apart right on the mandrel right in front of your eyes. Which is pretty disheartening. Ok. All right. Then, we're pretty much done on the torch now. That will be our bead. You can't really see much right now because it's still glowing hot. But I'm going to throw it back in the kiln, and we're going to move onto our next step.
