Basic Tips on Dumping Playing Dominoes

Hi! I’m Nathan Holsey, author of the book The Dominologist. On behalf of expertvillage.com, in this clip I will be talking about dumping. If you’d like to learn more about double 6 dominos, please refer to my website thedominologist.com. Dumping consist of getting rid of your high dominos. In my hand, I hold 9 dominos. Each domino, all of these dominos are 8 points or more, from 8-12, the double 6 is 12 points, the 6-5, that’s 11 points, 10 with a 6-4. The reason I point this out is because at the end of a hand or a round, when someone dominos, they get the points in your hand. You want to start getting rid of those high bones as soon as possible. You don’t want to get caught with a high hand. It’s best to have a low hand so they get less points in the end and that’s what I mean when I say dumping.
