Basic Tips on the Bone Yard for Dominoes
Hi! I’m Nathan Holsey, author of the book The Dominologist. On behalf of expertvillage.com, in this clip we’ll be talking about double 6 dominos, the bone yard. If you’d like to learn more about dominoes, you can go to my website thedominologist.com. The bone yard. These dominoes over here set aside is what we call the bone yard, this is a game in play. This is my hand, my hand, my opponent’s hand. Because I have only 4 dominoes left and my opponent has 5 dominoes, it would usually be my opponents play. So if my opponent were to play, he would play a double 4 because there's less options but this seems, I don’t have any 4’s in my hand, I would have to go to the bone yard, so I have to pull a domino. An ace, an ace doesn’t match a 6 or a 4. Ah, a 6, a 6 matches the spinner which was the very first domino that was thrown down and I have played but I had to pull from the bone yard. That is the bone yard.
