Learn What Materials are Needed for Native American Headdresses

In this clip we're going to show you everything you'll need, material wise, to get your child excited about becoming an Indian at your party. You're going to need make-up. You're going to want to make sure it's washable because some kids do get it all over their costumes, some on the walls, and who else knows where else. So, make sure it is washable make-up. You are going to need Q-tips. Q-tips are great because they are disposable and they're inexpensive. You're going to need baby wipes for quick clean up in case something spills. You need make-up applicators. They can be the sponges, you can use cotton balls, or you can use the round compact make-up applicators. Paint brushes, you can use, and I suggest these if the children are older and they have a little bit more artistic capability. Then you're going to need feathers for the headdresses. You'll need elastic band. The thicker elastic is better because it will stay on the children's heads. You can use the large feathers or the short feathers. You'll need strips of material to create arm bands, and again, the feathers to glue on the arm bands.
