Hi, I'm Linda Leon with Expert Village, and I've been working with children for a very long time. Today we are going to learn about how to pass your faith along to your children. One of the things I did with my kids when they were growing up was to invest in videos. Today everything is on DVD's but when my children were growing up it was all on video and I still have the library, so I brought a few examples today for you to use. One thing I would like to encourage you is to invest in Veggie Tales series because these are real simple bible story for children, they talk about courage and faith and not having fear, they're easily absorbed into a small child?s mind, so if your child is anywhere from 2 to 7 or 2 to 8 these are excellent source. The next thing that I would recommend is going up a step further are those produced by Hannah Barbera. Hannah Barbera has a series called the Greatest Adventures, they have all the biblical characters like Moses, this one happens to be about Moses and this one of Queen Esther but I also have many of the other ones. That's for more of the over eight crowd, maybe between eight and thirteen years old they may get really into the series like that because it's a little bit more developed and then finally when you get to your teenagers who are really going to want to learn some things and don't want to be entertained anymore by the little cartoons because they feel that they're just to big for that you might consider the bible collection series and this is put out by Turner Broadcasting and they have a wonderful series on all types of people from the bible this one I have today is Abraham and I also have Jacob but I have the whole set all the way thru and my children absolutely love these when they turned teenagers and we still watch these as a family today. So I would encourage you to invest in videos or DVD's and get your children inspired, because something about those visual images sticks with them and they love it. I'm Linda Leon with Expert Village
