How to Use a Timer to Improve Bible Learning

Hi, I'm Linda Leon with Expert Village and I've been working with children for a very long time. Today I'm going to share with you how to pass your protestant faith along to your children using very simply applications. If you really want to get your children excited about the Word of God, put them on a timer. This is a fun type of timer, simply a sand glass, like an hour glass or miniature glass. Kids love this. You might say, "How many Bible scriptures can you tell me before the sand reaches the other side. Or you might ask them, "Can you name all the books of the Bible before the sand reaches the other side?" You would be amazed at how excited they get over something as simple as a timer. They love to beat the clock. So use ones that have funny looks to them to get them excited. My kids love this one. We keep this one at home and play with it all the time. Another thing that you might use is just a regular timer. You don't have the sand glass, use one of these. You can get one of these at your local dollar store or local retailer. Just a few bucks, and set a timer and get those kids moving. You can help them to learn scriptures faster that way. You can help them to learn Bible stories faster that way. Lots of applications using a simple timer. And I'm Linda Leon with Expert Village.
