Applying Powder to Face to Cover Acne with Makeup

The next thing I'm gonna show you is setting your face using the loose powder and putting it into a puff, loading a puff. This is my favorite, this is like what the Hollywood make-up artists do. This is what is a puff, again you can get it at any local beauty supply or drug store, and what you'll do is you'll take the puff, lay it flat like this, and take your translucent powder and dump some onto the puff. We learned this in make-up school, it's fun and every make-up artist I know does this. You are going to make a little taco with the puff, and then you just smush the puff. This is what, we're loading the puff. Right now that powder that I just put on this puff is now being loaded inside this puff. And now your puff is loaded. What you're gonna do now is turn that and make a taco the other way putting your finger, your pointer finger inside the taco. And you're gonna rock and roll over the face. Basically you're just gonna take the taco and roll over the face again setting the foundation. And the coolest part about this is you can take this puff with you throughout the day and the powder is already loaded into the puff. And you can have, you take your, you flick the bottom and powder comes out and you can rock and roll again. So you can powder yourself all day long. You have one little puff and there you go. That's loading a puff and using loose powder with a puff.
