DIXON GILLETTE: Okay. So to begin a multiplayer game from the main menu, you're going to want to select your Multiplayer button. And this will bring you to another submenu, which will give you the choice of playing over a local area network or over the Internet using the Gamespy servers. To setup a local area network game, simply click the game and you'll click either Host Game or Join Game. As you can see, not many people play on the local area network. To host a game is pretty simple. You'll just simply select Host Game. You'll type in the game name that you want, a game type which is a scenario or you can load a game. And you click OK and this will bring you to your same scenario setup. Once you have your select scenario setup - of course, I have a Firewall here, so we're going to click unblock - and it will bring you to your game setup where you can select your player and your investor level, whichever one you wish to pick and then you'll click Ready. And essentially what this will do is this will show you your game. It will show your game in this lobby here as an available game. So if this game was here, you just simply select Join Game. And also, the same goes for playing an Internet game. You'll simply select the Internet button. And as you could see here, more people are actually on the Internet Gamespy. So the same thing goes. You would join a game. If you saw a game here you wanted to pick by simply highlighting it and then clicking Join. And again, if you wanted to host the game, it will essentially bring up the scenario setup again. And once you're happy with your selections, click OK, and then your game will essentially show up in the lobby once you are ready. Now, here you have a couple of chat options where you could chat in the lobby and you could chat with just the people who are setting up your game. So now, people will be able to join your game and you'll see these open slots will fill up eventually. And once your other players have essentially come into the game, you'll click Launch, and the game will launch and play just like any other game would. So those are the basics of how to setup a multiplayer game. And I hope you enjoy playing online.
