JOHNNY MILES: In this clip, I'm going to talk about short putting, okay? I've hit my tee shot above the hole, putted down a really fast putt. And now I've got about a five- or six-footer back up the hill. Now, what I did was when it came rolling down the hill I paid attention to it and see--saw which way it was breaking then I'm going to get a good look at it from below. I saw the putt come in from left to right, so going back up the hill it's a bit right to left. Every putt to me is a straight putt. Okay? I see this in a straight line just at the right edge of the hole, perhaps a little outside. My pre-shot routine, I will set my eyes to that straight line, my putter to my eyes and then make a good stroke. In putting, you have a really long putt, watch it all the way to the hole, especially if you get it past a hole, watch what it did. That helps you read the putt coming back and make those five-, six-footers for par a whole lot easier.
