Vacuuming Before Steam Cleaning a Carpet

Hi! This is Diana with Expert Village.com and today we are going to be steam cleaning your carpet at home with a rental machine and one of the things that you have to do first is vacuum your carpet before you steam clean. Now we’ve moved the furniture and one step that I always do that sometimes gets neglected is to clean the baseboards. So now that we’ve moved your couch, it’s the best time to do it. Do that all around the perimeter of the room and then I like to take my little whisk broom and just move any dirt particles away from the edge of the wall. This way when you come around with the vacuum you will be able to get near the edge of the wall and clean up all those particles. So now I am going to start my vacuuming. Here we go.
