How to Steam Clean Carpet Under the Furniture

Hi! This is Diana with Expert Village.com and today we are going to be steam cleaning your carpet at home with a rental machine. So one of the first things you need to do is move the furniture and you may think why should I move the furniture, nobody walks underneath the couch but we are moving all of the furniture instead of cleaning just the center of the carpet because you want to make sure that you get the dust, possible dust mites and mold from the whole carpet and not just the center of the room. Also if you did just the center of the room, you might notice a dirt ring right in front of your couch or your furniture because the carpet cleaner would not be able to reach in that area. And also if you move your furniture, you will be able to clean behind the furniture, the baseboards and the carpet that is behind the couch. So let’s move some furniture.
