Supplies Needed for Making a Light Switch Plate Cover

Hi! I'm John and with expertvillage.com. I'm showing you how to make a light switch plate cover. Here's an example of a nice one. You'll need tools in order to do it and materials to use. One thing that you'll need is a plain one right here. In order to make one like this, here are the tools you'll need. One thing you'll need is Mod Podge. It's really cheap. You can find it at any craft store. It's white. It'll dry clear. It look like Elmer's glue and when you put it on it'll be white, but it'll dry clear. Next thing you'll need is an Exacto knife, a razor blade, something to cut the picture out and to trim it when you're done. They're really sharp, so be careful. Try to get a sharp one. You also need a paintbrush. This one is kind of big, but it doesn't matter which kind you get. This one is huge. You also need a picture. Places where you can find a picture. We're getting this one out of a computer arts calendar. It's really cool. We're going to use it. You can use a picture that'll match the paint in your room. It doesn't matter. You can use a pattern as well.
